We pursue 'the good life' industriously at Anglers Paradise. In addition to the excellent fishing, there is something for everyone. A wonderful play area for children with swings and slides, and there are donkey rides on the premises. For the bigger children like us, there is a games room with a pool table, fruit and video machines etc. There is a tackle and bait shop, a magnificent heated indoor swimming pool with baby pool, Jacuzzi, sauna.

Food & drink
Between April and October, usually on a Sunday, we have a Wine and Dine night in the Pergola. These are always a huge success. The magic glasses ensure that we all have a lot of fun.

The other fun place is, predictably, the bar. However, this is no ordinary bar. Our famous African Bar is decked out in authentic African style, full of African antiques and the spectacular Fisherman\'s Bar is decked out in fish trophies with pool table and juke box.

During the Summer we have two themed food nights.

 

Tuesday

Steak, Ale & Mushroom Pie. Served with New Potatoes, Peas and marinaded Carrots.

 

Friday

Curry Night. Either Chicken Tikka Masala or Chicken Madras

Served with Rice, Poppadums, Pickles and Naan Bread

Drinks from the bar can be served at your table.

Clay Shoots
Once a week, if there is enough demand, there is clay pigeon shooting on-site and in the Autumn we offer special tuition in the making of wine from wild fruit.

The expeditions to collect blackberries, sloes and elderberries are great fun. Anglers Paradise is ideally located for touring the whole of the West Country.

Some of our guests even come, not for the fishing, but just for peace and quiet and the glorious countryside.
